Sunday Mornings at the Forum
Our Sunday morning worship starts at 10.30. There's something powerful about the people of God coming together. Our heart is to worship, hear the word of God, tell stories of what God is doing and pray for one another... but in it all, if the Holy Spirit wants to do something different then we want to let Him do it!
Our gatherings are relaxed in style so you will find people standing, sitting, kneeling, lying down, raising hands, dancing and generally expressing the joy they feel. We value an atmosphere where we can freely express feelings to the Lord, so don’t be surprised by the odd outburst of gratitude, a shout or a groan - it’s quite normal, especially when the Holy Spirit is on the move.
We also have dedicated meetings for children and young people, allowing them to encounter God in a context designed specifically for them.
Trained and accountable prayer ministry team members are at hand to pray for you at the end of the meeting every week. Even when there is no invitation to receive prayer, do go forward and ask someone from the Prayer Ministry Team to pray with you (they will be wearing badges!).
Don’t feel you have to rush away at the end – there’s tea and coffee upstairs, and, if you’re visiting, go to the welcome desk and fill in a card then we have some goodies for you and a free specialty coffee from the ‘Intermission Café’.
Joshua Generation, 7.30pm (café from 6.30pm)
Sunday evening is dedicated to our youth, students and young adults. Joshua Generation has (loud!) live worship, ministry, young people preaching the word of God, and is led by young adults. It’s really the only place to be in Bath on a Sunday evening…
Sundays for Children
We believe that children are not just the Church of tomorrow but also the Church of today. We want each child to know their value in God, His love for them and to recognize and use the gifts and abilities that He has given them.
We offer a vibrant Children's Ministry that operates every week during the Sunday meeting, allowing them to encounter God in a context designed specifically for them. Click here for full details.
