Arriving by Car
Avon Street car park is situated behind 'Quasar' which is an adjoining building to The Forum, Bath City Church. Car park rates from 8am - 8pm is £2.80 for up to 2 hours rising steeply hour by hour. From 6pm - midnight this car park costs £1.50.
There’s also underground car parking almost opposite the Forum front doors, underneath the new shopping centre. Rates are the same as for Avon Street, except that it seems to be free after 6pm.
On-street parking is free after 6pm on weekdays and free all day Sunday and Bank Holidays.
Park & Ride
For day time access to the city centre, we recommend using one of the three Park & Ride facilities located in Newbridge (coming from the West / Bristol) Odd Down (coming from A387 Radstock) or Lansdown (coming from East and A4 London Road). The cost is £3 per adult Mon – Fri; £2 per adult on a Saturday and they run from 6.30am – 8.30pm. In the evening, Avon Street car park rates are reduced making it cheaper to bring your car to the city centre. Visit Park & Ride website
Arriving by Rail and Bus
The Forum is a short walk from the Train and Bus Stations which are situated next to eachother. Bath Spa Railway Station is on a direct line from London Paddington to the West Country and Wales. Both local and national Bus and Coach networks operate from the Bus Station.
Arriving at Bath Spa Railway Station or Bus Station, turn left and walk along Dorchester Street until the end and a pedestrian crossing. Cross over the street. Turn Right along St James’s Parade. The church is on your left on the corner of Somerset Street and St James’s Parade.
