Soul Spa Women's Network
‘Soul Spa’ is the name of our new women’s network This is a season for women to meet together – to be strengthened and encouraged, and so over this past year we have begun to put on more events that are exclusively for women. We want every woman to know that they are loved and valued by the Father and that they are incredibly special. We all have a God who is lavish in His love for us and the aim is to communicate that in some small way to each of our ladies. All our events are designed to create an environment where women feel pampered and lavished upon!
In May 2009 we launched 'Soul Spa' with an evening entitled "The King's Chambers". This was an evening where we were drawn into an encounter with the King through narrated revelations accompanied by music and song. It was a very inspiring evening.
Then in September we had a Ladies Breakfast. This leisurely, continental-style breakfast created space to be with other ladies. There was also a short ‘thought for the day’ on making time for yourself.
And in October, we ran a Ladies Seminar Day when Maxine Vorster, author of the book “Hidden Hunger”shared with us her struggles to be able to love and accept herself. Understanding God’s love for her radically changed her life! Maxine shared the journey God took her on and the important steps He showed her to walk in freedom.
