Community Groups
at Bath City Church
Community Groups are mid sized groups of up to 40 adults, that meet in homes in
various locations across the city and surrounding region, in an
informal setting around food.
Launched in 2008 they came out of a desire to not only build a community of God’s people who feel that they belong, but also to provide a setting for family, neighbours and friends to also feel at home there.
We all rightly put high value on our Sunday morning gathering when we can come together as a large congregation of several hundreds to worship God together and enjoy a ‘celebration’ style of meeting. The down side of this is that it is possible to feel ‘lost in the crowd’ amongst so many.
Community Groups are a great way of getting connected; of getting to know a few people well; a place to feel that you belong and a place where you feel comfortable to invite your family, friends and neighbours along to.
Some of our Community Groups are very much in their infancy, others already have 20+ members. Some are family orientated, or for a specific group of people with a common interest, or aimed at people living in specific geographical location.
Anyone and everyone is invited to join a group! For more information This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
